The chiefs of the religious organizations functioning in Azerbaijan and the officials and members of the committee took part in the ceremony. The chief of the committee Hidayet Orujov stated that the bust was made by Peopleâ€™s Artist Omer Eldarov. He also mentioned that the committee was founded in 2001.
â€œAzerbaijan is a secular country and the principles of the country are realized by protection of religious and national values. That is why necessary conditions have been created for the members of other religious men,â€? he said.
The chiefs of the religious communities, the rector of Baku Islam University Haji Sabir Hassanli and other made speeches in the ceremony. /APA/
