APA reports that the court which investigated the case of Abbas Musa Atakishiyev, an independent candidate in the 2005 parliamentary elections, came to a conclusion that his right to fair trial was broken and passed a decision on paying 7,500 euros to him for non-pecuniary damage and 1.385 euros for judicial cost and expenses. Atakishiyev’s candidacy had been disqualified following allegations that he had bribed voters and insulted his opponents as well as disrupted their meetings.
