The writer’s brother Ilgar Tagiev told APA that during the meeting Zakir Garalov said that the criminal case was investigated objectively and in details: “Zakir Garalov said that the investigation was underway and it wouldn’t be correct to announce something before.â€
Rafig Tagi’s relatives addressed the President of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of National Security, Ministry of Internal Affairs and General Prosecutor’s Office and said that the investigation was carried out non-objectively.
Rafig Tagi was stabbed near his home in Baku on November 19, 2011 and died in the Clinical Medical Center several days later.
The criminal case was investigated by the Grave Crimes Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
