According to Izrus site, 62-year-old minister suffers from oncologic disease. He was examined in one of the medical centers of Israel this month. Izrus said Jamalov has been taking the ministerial post since 2006 and he was one of the authors of plan for joint production of unmanned aircrafts by Azerbaijan and Israel.
Official of the Ministry of Defense Industry Bakhtiyar Asadov denied the reports about the minister’s illness and said Jamalov is in the office and has no health problems.
