Rafig Tagiâ€™s relatives address Azerbaijani President

The writer’s brother Ilgar Tagiev told APA that in the letter, they noted that the investigation was carried out non-objectively: â€œAs a Rafiq Tagiâ€™s family, we are concerned about that the murderer has not been found yet. Investigative organization doesnâ€™t investigate the case objectively and no of our petitions has been accepted. We ask you to give instruction for detailed investigation of the criminal case.â€

Tagiev also noted that copies of the letter were sent to the ministries of National Security and Internal Affairs and the General Prosecutorâ€™s Office of the Republic.

Rafig Tagi was stabbed near his home in Baku on November 19, 2011 and died in the Clinical Medical Center several days later.

The criminal case was investigated by the Grave Crimes Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
