According to information the operational search actions revealed that the murderer of 73-years old Elmira Suleymanova is her neighbor, 23-years old Natig Humbatov. Humbatov was detained by police. E confessed that he committed the crime because of robbery.
The criminal case has been launched into the fact, the investigation is underway.
The abovementioned crime was committed on February 17 in 9-storey residential building situated in Azadlig Avenue of Baku. Elmira Sakhavat Ismayilova, born in 1938, was stabbed to death. The apartment was burnt after the woman was killed. Firemen of the Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished the fire.
The killed woman is mother of head of the UN Food Program Representative Office Fuad Huseynov.
