On February 17, resident of Binagadi district of Baku Elmira Ismayilova, 74 was stabbed to death in her apartment. The apartment’s kitchen was burnt. Police investigate the incident.
The incident was recorded at Azadlig Avenue last night. Elmira Sakhavat Ismayilova, born 1938 was stabbed to death by unknown people in her apartment. The apartment was burnt after the woman was killed. Firemen of the Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished the fire.
Probably the murder was committed by robbers. But motive of the incident is still unknown.
The investigation is carried out into the fact by Binagadi District Prosecutor Office.
The killed woman was mother of head of the UN Food Program Representative Office Fuad Huseynov.
