The incident took place in Yeni Yasamal settlement. 42-year-old Nail Tahirov beat his wife, 34-yer-old Simuzar Tahirova with axe. Thinking that the woman died, he committed suicide jumping from the 7th floor and died at site.
Neighbors found the woman wounded and immediately hospitalized her.
According to the preliminary version, the incident happened because of family dispute.
The investigation is underway.
