APA reports that chairman of the Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev made a speech at the meeting. Rzayev said that Azerbaijani citizens could appeal to the European Court of Human Rights and today demands for the working activity of the court and law-enforcement bodies increased: “Though number of the examined cases in the Supreme Court increased in 2011, number of abolishment of the court decisions decreased.”

Rzayev also said that 6 plenary meetings of the Supreme Court were held and 31 decisions were made.

Then speeches of the chairmen of the civil, administrative-economical, criminal and military boards on implementation of the valid proposition were heard at the meeting.

The working plan of the court for 2012 was confirmed and concrete issues were examined. The relevant decisions were made on the discussed and examined issues at the meeting.
