Ramil Usubov receives UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Baku â€“ APA. Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov received the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan Peter Bateman, the ministryâ€™s press service told APA. Minister spoke about the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the socio-political situation in the country in the early years of independence, mentioned active participation of the British experts in the seminars held in Azerbaijani regions on the theme â€œPolice and human rightsâ€ within the framework of the cooperation with the Council of Europe, participation of the ministryâ€™s representatives in the events and exchange of experience in the UK.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Ambassador Peter Bateman said despite the economic crisis in a number of developed countries, Azerbaijan is developing rapidly. Ambassador said he would do his best for the enhancement of the relations between the two countries.
