Azerbaijan State Border Service detained 35 trespassers last month

18 people in 19 cases were detained while attempting to show forged documents, 2 people in 2 cases were detained while attempting to trespass the state border.

153 wanted persons were detained and handed over to law enforcement bodies.

As a result of measures against illicit drug turnover, 6.137 kg drugs were found and confiscated in 6 cases within the month.

As a result of anti-smuggle operations, contraband traffic in the amount of AZN 252 721, including 3 pistols and 3 chargers, 127 9-mm bullets, 75 16-mm bullets, 7 7.55-mm bullets, 1 7.62-mm bullet, 2 pistol holsters, 5 masks, 2 night observation devices, 2 tear gas balloons, 2 video cameras, 1 photo camera, 2 radio stations. 7 knifes, 1 notebook, USD 8107, Euro 525, AZN 217, 1573 boxes of cigarette, 159 mobile phones, various alcoholic beverages and other products were detained.

As a result of measures taken towards the security of sea borders and protection of border regime rules, 13 people were detained while infringing the coastal security rules.
