Baku. Hafiz Haydarov – APA. Baku city Main Police Office released official information on the death of the Canadian citizen. Dead Body of the Canadian citizen Stephen Mark Smith was founded at the rented apartment at i.Gasimov 10 str. Nasimi district on Feburary 4, APA reports. There were not any violations signs on the body.
The body and the crime scene were studied by Baku Main Police Office and Prosecutor’s office with participation of collaborators of forensic medical examination using modern technical means.
According to preliminary forensic medical examination the reason for death was carbon monoxide toxication.
Nasimi District Prosecutor’s office launched criminal case under the article 314.2 (negligence) of criminal code.
