Kamran Aliyev: The roadways are freezing in Azerbaijan

Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh â€“ APA. The State Traffic Police Office has again addressed the drivers and pedestrians due to the deterioration of weather in Azerbaijan.

Chief of public affairs department of the State Traffic Police Office Kamran Aliyev told APA that the roadways were freezing.
â€œThe main problem is on the roads in Gusar region bordering on Russia. Despite this, traffic has not been stopped on highways,â€ he said.

Kamran Aliyev advised the drivers not to drive non-serviceable vehicles.
â€œThe drivers are asked not to drive vehicles that do not have winter tyres. Unskilled drivers must not drive on icy roads. Drivers must pay attention to the speed,â€ he said.

According to the department chief, 10 traffic accidents were recorded in Azerbaijan yesterday.
â€œ1 died, 12 were injured in the accidents. Three of the traffic accidents happened in Baku, killing 1 and injuring 2,â€ he said.
