Accused person commits suicide in police department in Azerbaijan

Aydin Fazil Abbasov, 30, hanged himself with his undershirt in the temporary detention facility of the regionâ€™s police office. Aydin Abbasov had written a letter before committing the suicide. The letter reads:
â€œI do not want to live any more. No one is guilty in my death.â€

The police office also said Abbasov had been detained over the criminal case launched by Neftchala region prosecutorâ€™s office. He faced charges under article 315 (showing resistance to or using force against an official) of the Criminal Code.

Earlier, Aydin Abbasov had faced charges on articles 177 (robbery) and 234 (illegal use of drugs) and had been imprisoned.

Neftchala region prosecutorâ€™s office has launched criminal case on the fact, investigation is underway.
