Interior Ministry and General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic spreads information on happened incident in Tartar city

On July 6, 2010 at about 11.00 a clash took place between a group of local residents and IDPs from Shotlanli village of Aghdam located in the region. Consequently, both sides suffered losses, as well as 4 local residents were taken to central hospital. Some trade and public facilities suffered damages. Public tranquility has been restored as a result of carried out operative measures. Two police officers were slightly injured. Criminal case has been launched on the article # 221.3 (The hooliganism committed with application of a weapon or subjects, used as the weapon â€“is punished by imprisonment for the term from three up to seven years) of the Criminal Code, investigation is underway. A group consisting of responsible officials of the Interior Ministry and General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic has been sent to the region for taking adequate measures for investigation of the causes of the clash.
