Temporary detention facilities of police offices in Gabala, Oghuz, Shaki and Zagatala examined

Baku â€“ APA. Under the instructions of Azerbaijanâ€™s Human Rights Commissioner Elmira Suleymanova, chief of the department for civil and political rights protection of the Human Rights Commissionerâ€™s Office, coordinator for Shaki-Zagatala region, Abseleddin Aliyev and head of Shaki Regional Center Parviz Mammadov examined temporary detention facilities of police offices in Gabala, Oghuz, Shaki and Zagatala regions. Press service of the Human Rights Commissionerâ€™s Office told APA that the representatives of the office talked to the detainees, explained their rights to them, familiarized with the detention conditions and documents proving the legality of their detention.
The detainees did not complain of the detention conditions, the treatment towards them.
The administrations of the temporary detention facilities were given recommendations to improve the detention conditions more.
