Azerbaijani witness of Osh incidents: “Though the situation has calmed down in the city, apprehensiveness is still worries the people”

He said that he would leave for Bishkek by next plane. Karimov graduated from Osh State University, faculty of law, but could not receive his diploma because of unrests in the city. He shared with APA his impressions of the happened incidents: “Happened incident did not impact on me directly. I lived with my friends in safe place. It was danger to go out. But today the situation is quiet. People go out. There are soldiers everywhere, they ensure public tranquility. But there is still apprehensiveness”.
Karimov said that he left Osh with at urgent request of his parents. To him, his parents appealed Azerbaijani embassy in Kyrgyzstan and asked them to evacuate their son to Bishkek: “The officials of the embassy got into touch with me and helped me to fly to Bishkek”. He also said that he had not ties with any Azerbaijani family in Osh: “But, as I heard, there are some Azerbaijani families in Osh”.

Consultant of Azerbaijani embassy in Kyrgyzstan Ilgar Jabbarov told APA that after Sabir Karimov would return to Bishkek the embassy would ensure his return to Baku. Jabbarov thanked Major General of the Kyrgyzstan Internal Affairs Abdilda Suranchiyev and Mukam Abil Gaziyev who executed the authority of head of the Kyrgyzstan Social Fund.
