Under the order of the Prosecutor General’s Office, in order to achieve professional public prosecution, increase the efficiency of the participation of the prosecutors in the consideration of the criminal cases in the Azerbaijani Court of Grave Crimes, the structure of the Office for Public Prosecution has been improved, a department for Public Prosecution in the Court of Grave Crimes has been established.
Under another order of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Mirjavan Rza Kazimov has been appointed chief of the department.
Since 1986 Mirjavan Kazimov has held various posts at Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office, since 2007 at the National Security Ministry and Ministry of Emergency Situations, deputy chief of the department at the State Border Service.
