Azerbaijan’s State Commission: “Fate of 47 missing people has been clarified”

15 of them survived during the battles and sieges, 17 were killed in the battles and their bodies were identified and buried. 12 were repeatedly included in the list of missing people and three became missing outside the conflict zone.
The State Commission identified 4090 prisoners of war, hostages and missing people to June 1, 2010. 3297 of them are servicemen, 787 – civilians. Six were not identified. 48 people became missing in their childhood (17 little girls). 252 women and 353 elder, including 151 old women became missing. There is information about 783 out of 4090 missing people and witnesses gave testimony. 1397, including 343 women, 169 children and 289 elder were released. The State Commission analyzed the materials and clarified that 553 people, including 104 women were killed or died in prison.
