The incident was recorded on June 6 at about 14.20 on the 242nd km of Baku-Shamakhy-Yevlakh superhighway in Aghdash region. “Volkswagen touareg†(90 EN 099) owned by Azer Kosayev Irshad (born in 1970) – Department Chief of Baku City Taxes Department, collided with Kamaz (03 AC 088) owned by Aghayev Tahir Shamil (born in 1959). Azer Kosayev died as a result of the incident. His wife Bayramova Babi Vali (born in 1971) and his cousin Kosayev Natig Alshad (born in 1968) were hospitalized with various injures. According to information, Azer Kosayev and his family members were going to mourning ceremony.
Criminal case has been launched by Main State Traffic Police Office. Investigation is underway.
