A cooperation agreement between Azercosmos and the Turkish company "Impro" was signed within the framework of the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX-2024 held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to the agreement, it’s planned for Azercosmos to use images and solutions obtained through the Goktürk-1 satellite belonging to the company "Impro" for the purpose of expanding its commercial portfolio.
"Göktürk-1" is a high-resolution Earth remote observation satellite. It allows you to get an image from any point of the Earth without geographical restrictions.
Satellite imagery is used in the implementation of various programs on mapping and planning, agriculture, soil cover research, geology, environmental monitoring, emergency management, coastal zone management and water resources.
