An agreement between Azercosmos and StarWin, a Chinese global terminal manufacturer, was signed to expand the scope of communication services in Azerbaijan and the region, Azercosmos told APA-Economics.
According to the agreement, Azercosmos will provide services to its customers in remote regions without traditional communication infrastructure. These services will be provided through "Azconnexus" satellite internet platform and "StarWin" mobile satellite terminals.
It should be noted that the terminals of the "StarWin" company are equipment that provides satellite communication both in motion (Communication on the Move) and in a stable form (Communication on the Pause).
The mentioned terminals provide an opportunity to provide stable and uninterrupted satellite communication in moving vehicles. Terminals intended for establishing a connection with a satellite in a stationary case are equipment that can be installed and removed quickly. The advantage of these terminals is that they are very convenient for flexible broadcasting during emergencies. In short, it is possible to provide stable communication through these terminals in extreme weather conditions or in remote areas.
