Turkish and Azerbaijani companies can jointly develop a product with an artificial intelligence–based structure, said Vurgun Hajiyev, Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), during a panel discussion at the “Azerbaijan–Türkiye Business Forum: Digital Transformation and Technology Bridge,” APA-Economics reports.
“For example, there may be certain elements in the financial and fintech sectors in Türkiye that can be added and implemented in Azerbaijan,” V. Hajiyev added.
He noted that one of the most important issues is to focus on the core vision data that can be researched today:
“For example, we need to place very strong focus on companies, especially those operating in the fields of data governance, data engineering, and data science.
Because Azerbaijan’s next stage of development will be based on credit services and the government’s e-government 3.0 model. We believe that if we can seriously process raw data and convert it into AI systems, we will move to the next level.
Various tools will be needed for this. Therefore, in this process, both Türkiye and other Turkic states are very interesting for Azerbaijan. One of the most important issues is sharing experience and learning from Türkiye’s experience.
At the same time, we want to learn about and implement developments related to artificial intelligence in Türkiye in the field of education. This should be applied not only at the university level but also in schools. This process should not be limited solely to higher education.”
