Amazon's Vice president and YouTube co-founder to visit Baku

On October 10-11, 2024, the "INMerge" Innovation Summit, organized by "PASHA Holding," will take place at the Baku Congress Center, APA -Economics reports.

The goal of the region's largest innovation summit is to contribute to the development of the innovation ecosystem, bring startups and investors together to create opportunities for cooperation, and establish a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences among all participants in the innovation ecosystem.

This year’s "INMerge" Innovation Summit will feature Steve Chen, co-founder of YouTube. Also confirmed among the speakers are Werner Vogels, Vice President and CTO of Amazon, and Vladimir Pravdivy, former CEO of Avito. Additionally, Linda Hill, founder of Paradox Strategies and InnovationForce and a professor at Harvard Business School; Ilya Strebulaev, a professor at Stanford University; and Johannes Hummer, Regional Director at Vodafone, will also join the list of speakers.

In addition to them, speakers from Azerbaijan will include Jalal Gasimov, CEO of PASHA Holding, and Farid Mammadov, Chief Executive Director of the Ecosystem at PASHA Holding; Farid Huseynov, CEO of Kapital Bank; Inara Valiyeva, Chair of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency; and Fariz Jafarov, CEO of 4SIM.

Note that this year's summit will cover discussions on financial technologies, digitization, e-commerce, telecommunications, value-added services, new economies, and other areas.
