Ogan says formerly, Turkey did not pay attention to the threat posed by the Nuclear Power Plant to the region. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs started to act after the question was raised at the GNAT.
“This plant poses a threat not only to Turkey, but also to Azerbaijan and Georgia. We continue our activity with the abovementioned countries regarding this issue”, he added.
He also noted that the issue on Metsamor is in the focus of attention at the international level. Turkey is ready to take all steps and provide support for suspension of this plant.
