It clarifies that approximately 30 American aerial refueling aircraft are currently stationed at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. A similar number are stationed at Ramon Airport. According to Israeli officials, the US would like to deploy "several dozen more aerial refueling aircraft" in the coming days to bring the total number "to the same level seen at the beginning of the war," Axios notes. It also emphasizes that this issue has become quite pressing in Israel, as the American refueling aircraft are effectively interfering with operations at Ben Gurion Airport.
