Baku – APA. Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received outgoing Greek Ambassador Ioannis Metaksas on July 3, the Foreign Ministry told APA.
Minister Mammadyarov noted his delight with bilateral cooperation and said there are huge opportunities to enhance this relationship. Minister also wished Ambassador Metaksas success in his future endeavours.
Ambassador of Greece said there is potential to develop bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Greece. Ambassador also emphasized that he leaves Azerbaijan with fond memories and called the recent decision on TAP project a "historic decision".
At the meeting they also exchanged views about other issues of mutual interest.
