PACE co-rapporteurs meet with political party leaders

APA reports that some commitments undertaken by Azerbaijan upon accession to the Council of Europe were discussed at the meeting with Ali Huseynli.

These commitments mainly cover conformity of some points in the legislation with the European laws. The main issue is the realization of the document adopted by the Monitoring Committee in January and monitoring process. Following this, the meeting was closed to the press at the request of PACE co-rapporteurs.

Deputy executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Mubariz Gurbanli, chairman of Social Welfare Party Khanhuseyn Kazimli, chairman of Civil Solidarity Party Sabir Rustamkhanli and chairman of the Democratic Reforms Party Asim Mollazade attended the meeting with PACE co-rapporteurs. They discussed the integration to Europe, Nagorno Karabakh conflict and other issues. PACE co-rapporteurs did not want media to be present at this meeting, either.
