Baku. Victoria Dementyeva – APA. The Summer Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly has finished in Istanbul, Turkey. APA reports that Istanbul Declaration was adopted at the end of the session. Parliamentarians of the OSCE PA called on the co-chairs to continue supporting Azerbaijan and Armenia in the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The declaration also covers Syrian issue, freedom of the media, cyber security and fight against human trafficking. The parliamentarians supported the idea of granting Palestine the status of partner at the OSCE. The OSCE budget was also approved at the session.
It was decided to hold autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Budva on October 13-15 and the next summer session in Baku from June 28 to July 2, 2014.
