OSCE chairman makes public plans of organization on settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict

Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. “Azerbaijan is a model of sustainable development. I was here 12 years ago. I observe very serious changes after 12 years. A new cooperation sphere with Azerbaijan is created for us and this can be useful for us”, said the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's Special Representative for the South Caucasus João Soares.

He highlighted importance of increase of the OSCE activity in the region and wanted the OSCE Chairman-in-Office to publicize the plans regarding region: “IN response to our demands, the sides will publicize their steps to be taken by them regarding Ukraine crisis. Thereafter, we will make our plans known. Regarding Abkhazia, we demand that opportunities should be created there for activity of the OSCE. Russia and Georgia should have dialogue”.

Regarding Nagorno Karabakh, our plan is: “The presidents should hold a new meeting at the next stage. We want to found new debate. Because several issues should be clarified. We discussed these issues with both presidents some weeks ago. The OSCE intends to continue mediation measures intensively. We think that the OSCE has great potential. Simply, in order to see high support, I ask you to give detailed information about the conflict to 57 countries”.
