Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations meets with Tajik President and Kyrgyz Prime Minister

Baku – APA. At the invitation of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the delegation led by Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov was on a visit to this country on July 1. APA reports quoting the Ministry of Emergency Situations that Kemaleddin Heydarov met with Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldiyev and First Vice Prime Minister Jomart Otorbaev.

 

At the meeting, Jantoro Satybaldiyev stated that the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in development of cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres and stressed the importance of effective use of existing potential. Heydarov noted the importance of further development of current joint cooperation in prevention of emergency situations and elimination of their consequences.

 

As a part of the visit, the delegations of the two countries had a meeting at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

 

The delegation of the Ministry led by Heydarov paid a visit to the Republic of Tajikistan at the invitation of this country on July 2. Heydarov was received by President of Tajikistan Emomalii Rahmon.

 

Rahmon noted the enhancement of relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan and underlined the importance of the efficient use of the existing potential. Heydarov spoke about the importance of enhancing the existing cooperation between the relevant government agencies of the two countries in the management of emergency situations.

 

Tajikistan's Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense also hosted a meeting with the participation of delegations of the two countries during the visit. The draft agreement expected to be signed in future was also discussed at the meeting.
