Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry: The Palestinian people will directly benefit from the Islamic Financial Security Network

He said it is very important that the event was held in Azerbaijan. "Azerbaijan will continue providing aid to Palestine both within international organizations, UN and OIC, and directly," he said.

Elman Abdullayev said the establishment of the Islamic Financial Security Network is a very positive and promising initiative.

"Azerbaijan as a member of the UN Security Council has always paid special attention to the Palestinian issue. During the next chairmanship of the upcoming meeting of the UN Security Council Azerbaijan will keep in the focus of attention the humanitarian aid to the Middle East, especially Palestine," he said.

Member states of the Organization of Islamic Conference held a donor conference on supporting Palestine in Baku yesterday.
