Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. During the Baku meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions, the Armenian delegation has proposed an amendment to the draft resolution on the agenda. APA reports that the committee administration raised an objection to head of the Armenian delegation to OSCE PA Artashes Geghamyan’s proposal.

During the discussion of the amendments to the draft resolution titled "Helsinki 40: Towards Human Security for All", Artashes Geghamyan asked for an early speech. He was allowed. Then he proposed an amendment on “the right to self-determination of peoples” to the draft, suggesting that it should be accepted as human security in the region. But his proposal triggered uproar among the delegations. Deputy Chairperson of the committee Gordana Comic turned to Geghamyan and said, “Your request is not in accordance with this document. Please, don’t interfere with the meeting’s agenda, and put forth a relevant proposal”.
