According to the amendments made on June 14, in 28 out of 47 countries visa-free travel is available for the persons having diplomatic and service passports, in 6 countries for the persons having only diplomatic passports, in 8 countries for the persons having diplomatic, official and service passports, in 4 countries for the persons having diplomatic, service and special passports, in 1 country for the persons having diplomatic, official, service and special passports.

Term for visa-free stay in Iran, Pakistan and Vietnam is one month, in 8 countries this term is 30 days and in 16 countries 90 days.

The citizens of Azerbaijan Republic having ordinary passports have the right to travel to Iran (15 days) and Turkey (1 month).

The current visa travel in Azerbaijan is regulated by the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On exit from, entry to the country, and passports”.

According to the interstate agreements, bilateral visa-free travel is applied between Azerbaijan and a number of countries.
