Baku – APA. "Pretoria News" newspaper of the Republic of South Africa has published an article about the winners of “What do I know about Azerbaijan?” essay competition.
Press service of the Azerbaijani Embassy in South Africa told APA that the article titled “Azerbaijan is calling” envisages information about the travel of 9 South African students to Azerbaijan that took place last year and interviews of Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa and one of the founders of "Friends of Azerbaijan" James Dey.
It was noted that there were positive changes in the lives and perceptions of the students visiting Azerbaijan within the program and they didn’t only familiarize themselves with a new country and culture, but also got the chance to become ambassadors of their countries.
The article also says that Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra will also pay a visit to Azerbaijan.
