The fact that Georgian Prime Minister paid his first official visit to Azerbaijan after Brussels shows it," Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze said at the briefing with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, APA reports.
Panjikidze said that up to now more than 5000 Meskhetian Turks have appealed for returning to Georgia.
Noting the cancellation of visa regime for Russian citizens, the Minister said that they want Russia to liberate visa regime and Ambassador Zurab Abashidze has discussed this issue with the Russian side. Touching on the export of Georgian wines to Russia, Panjikidze said that Russian special commission has recently visited Georgia to discuss this issue. She said that they reached an agreement on the export of 36 types of Georgian wine and 4 types of mineral waters to Russia.
