Baku. Anakhanum Hidayatova – APA. Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that Azerbaijani ambassador to Romania Eldar Hasanov appealed to the Head of State for his recall. The spokesman for the Foreign Ministry told APA that to recall an ambassador is in the competence of President and the Head of State can pass final decision on this.
Eldar Hasanov has also been accredited as ambassador to Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro. The diplomatic sources told APA that the ambassador’s appeal is not related with the termination of his diplomatic mission, he wants to be appointed to another country.
