Eka Tkeshelashvili: “Frozen†conflicts in GUAM territory should find soonest solution

Helsinki. Tamara Grigorieva–APA. “GUAM plays a great role both as not only regional, but also international organization. We have structured institutions and we forward ideas of democratization and stabilityâ€, said Georgian Foreign Minister Eka Tkeshelashvili at the OSCE Ministerial Council in Helsinki, APA correspondent reports. She said GUAM Batumi Summit resolutions proved the organization’s commitment to the idea of European integration. “GUAM pays special attention to the development of energy and transport corridors. GUAM summoned of all countries to recognize territorial countries of its member states and to support peace and stability in our countries. Protracted conflicts in our territories should be resolved soon and no countries should recognize separatist regions as the independent countriesâ€.
