OSCE Chairman: “There are progresses in the process of settlement to Nagorno Karabakh conflictâ€

First of all we will discuss South Ossetian, Abkhazian, Nagorno Karabakh and Transdniestrian conflictsâ€, said OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb at the OSCE Ministerial Council, APA correspondent reports from Helsinki. “The second issue we have to discuss is the European security. The Georgian events made me face-to-face with war for the first time. I would like to note that there are progresses in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. There are progresses even in the Transdniestrian problem, which appear particularly in the discussion of elections and combating trafficking issue. We will adopt political declaration and regional declarations on Nagorno Karabak and Transdniestrian conflicts at the end of the meeting today. For the first time we will discuss proposals made by President Dmitriy Medvedev and President Nicolas Sarkozy for the European security issues. We are hopeful that we can strengthen security in Europeâ€.
