 Georgia-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission holds meeting in Tbilisi

Georgia. Nizami Mammadzadeh–APA. Georgia-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission started its meeting in Tbilisi on Thursday. Azerbaijani delegation headed by Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh arrived in Tbilisi, APA Georgian bureau reports. Minister of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan Natig Aliyev, Minister of Education Misir Mardanov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyn Bagirov, Chief of the State Border Service Elchin Guliyev, Minister of Communication of Information Technologies Ali Abbasov and head of the Azerbaijan-Georgia Interparliamentary Friendship Group Ganira Pasahayeva are in the delegation.
The government officials are discussing the energy and transport cooperation, border-customs procedures, electricity supply from Azerbaijan to Georgia in winter time, opportunities to increase trade turnover between the countries and other issues.
Georgian co-chair of the intergovernmental commission is Prime Minister Grigol Mgaloblishvili.
