President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev receives Secretary General of the Council of Europe Terry Davis

Baku –APA. On December 2, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Terry Davis. Importance of the Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Culture on “Intercultural dialogue as a basis for peace and sustainable development in Europe and its neighboring regions†was emphasized at the meeting, Press Service of the President told APA. The role of such events in strengthening of the relations between the countries and peoples and extension of international cooperation was underlined.
The development of relations between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe was underlined as well. The sides expressed confidence that the Secretary General Terry Davis’s visit will contribute to the strengthening of cooperation.
