Presidents of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan hold trilateral meeting

APA reports that Kurbanguly Berdymukhamedov expressed his gratitude to the guests for their visit.

Turkeyâ€™s President Abdullah Gul said the three countries had high-level relations. He underlined the importance of the trilateral meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Turkey.

Azerbaijanâ€™s President Ilham Aliyev underlined that it was the first time the presidents of the three fraternal countries held a trilateral meeting.
â€œI attach great importance to this meeting. I am sure that the meeting will have successful results. This meeting will also have splendid results in terms of strengthening friendship and fraternal relations,â€ he said.

Azerbaijani President said common history, language, cultural roots united Turkey, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

The head of state underscored that his official visit to Turkmenistan was very successful and important agreements had been reached during the visit.
