Azerbaijani Presidentâ€™s visit to Italy concludes

Romeâ€“APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi within the framework of the visit to Italy, the Presidentâ€™s Press Service told APA.
The meeting covers development of bilateral relations at a high level. Berlusconi congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his reelection and stressed the importance of his visit to Italy.
The sides underlined that political, economic and humanitarian relations would further be expanded and mutual relations would be strengthened. The sides exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues.
Ilham Aliyev also met with Gianfranco Fini, President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies. The sides underlined the development of relations at a high level.
Fini congratulated Azerbaijani President on his reelection and expressed his gratitude for the development of cooperation between the two countries and stressed a role of interparliamentary relations in this field. He expressed his confidence for further development of cooperation.
Aliyev underlined that Italy-Azerbaijan relations would develop successfully henceforth.
Azerbaijani Presidentâ€™s visit to Italy concluded. The President arrived in Baku on November 26.
