Azerbaijan and Libya sign protocol on mutual cooperation

Baku. Victoria Dementyeva â€“APA. Azerbaijani-Libyan intergovernmental commission held its meeting in Baku on Wednesday. Azerbaijani delegation was led by the deputy foreign minister Khalaf Khalafov and Libyan delegation â€“ the deputy foreign minister of this country Omar al-Barani, APA reports. Protocol on mutual cooperation was signed at the meeting. Khalafov said prior points of the protocol were related to the energy and commercial cooperation. The document also focused on the cooperation in the fields of agriculture, education, health, tourism, culture, youth and sport. Mutual recognition of university diplomas and scientific degrees are planned within the cooperation in the field of education, personnel training - in the field of health, hosting of different festivals and cultural days â€“ in the field of culture. The commission will hold its next meeting in Libya next year.
