Chief of Azerbaijani General Staff to attend NATO meeting

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. Annual meeting of the top military officers of Euro Atlantic Partnership Council will start at NATO headquarters, Brussels tomorrow, NATO HQ in Brussels told APA. There will be several different sessions, including with just the NATO Chiefs of Defence, dealing mainly with operations (taking stock of all NATO-led operations and missions, ISAF and KFOR and maritime operations in particular), and discussing military-related issues in preparations for the next NATO Summit in April 2009. The Pakistan Chief of Army Staff will also be attending for discussions on the situation in Afghanistan.
Chief of Azerbaijani General Staff, Colonel-General Nejmeddin Sadigov will also attend the meeting.
