US Assistant Secretary of State David Kramer meets leaders of political parties and human rights defenders in Baku

Baku. Ramil Mammadliâ€“APA. US Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor David Kramer, who is on a visit to Baku, met with the leaders of political parties and human rights defenders of the country on Tuesday. President of the Public Union for Azerbaijan Eldar Namazaov told APA they discussed the presidential elections, situation of arrested journalists and political parties as well. They exchanged opinions on the socio-political situation in the country during two-hour meeting. Representative of New Azerbaijan Party, pro-government parties, candidates run for October 15 presidential elections, as well as opposition parties also joined the meeting.
