Baku. Parvin Abbasov – APA. The delegation led by Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov left for Istanbul.
APA reports that the visit aims to participate in the Partners Forum for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations. The delegation includes head of the Parliament’s Office Safa Mirzayev and the other officials.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will deliver keynote speeches in the forum.
The discussions will be held during the sessions on “Union of Cultures and global policyâ€, “Prevention of the conflicts and mediationâ€, “Look into global peaceâ€.
The visit will end on May 31.
