President of Turkmenistan Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov received Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, who is in Ashgabat to attend the meeting of CIS Council of Heads of Government. Turkmenistan’s state news agency reports that priority aspects of the Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan cooperation, as well as intergovernmental cooperation in the sphere of environment were discussed at the meeting.
Berdimuhammedov said that Turkmenistan was always open to fruitful cooperation: “We see Azerbaijan as a sincere friend and reliable partner.â€
