Grandiose event, which was held on occasion of the May 28 â€“ Azerbaijanâ€™s Day of Republic in Pakistan, has been widely covered by the prestige newspapers of the country â€œPakistan Observerâ€, â€œThe Newsâ€, â€œDaily Timesâ€, â€œThe Nationâ€, â€œDaily Jangâ€, as well as local TV channels PTV, DRY News, CNBC and the others.

Azerbaijani Embassy in Pakistan told APA that the Pakistanis journalists participated in the reception and shared their impressions about the event with readers. They note that, the influential guests â€“ Pakistani Ministry of Planning and Development, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Trade, President of the Pakistani Chamber Of Commerce And Industry, deputy chairmen of the Senate and National Assembly, deputies of the National Assembly, senators, generals of the Pakistani Army, intellectuals, journalists, foreign countriesâ€™ ambassadors to Pakistan and diplomats became familiar the Azerbaijanâ€™s achievements again. The newspapers have written that the participation of several significant ministries and state figures to the event on the Day of Republic is an obvious example of the Pakistanâ€™s attention to Azerbaijan.

Newspapers have also introduced their readers to the fact that there are profound historical and cultural ties, common culture and tradition between Azerbaijan and Pakistan and â€œSilk Wayâ€ plays the role of bridge between the two nations.
