Head of States send congratulatory letters to Azerbaijani President on Day of Republic

APA reports that President of the Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauck sent letter: â€œOn behalf of the people of my country and on my own, I would like to sincerely congratulate you and through you all the people of Azerbaijan on the Republic Day. This year we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries. This anniversary is an opportunity for a further expansion and deepening of our relations which are based on shared interests and mutual respect between our two countries. Germany will continue to support Azerbaijan in every way in its integration into Europe. In this regard, the internal development of the state, its integration into European values and norms are a major part of the dialogue between partners. I wish you every success and peace, progress and prosperity to the people of Azerbaijan.â€

Emperor of Japan Akihito, Italian president Giorgio Napolitano, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent congratulatory letters to the President and people of Azerbaijan on the Day of Republic.
